Ronald McDonald House

Casa Ronald McDonald Goiânia is being built next to the Goiás State Oncology Reference Complex (Cora) to shelter children, teenagers, and their families throughout cancer treatment. The first 100% green Ronald McDonald House in Latin America, the project applies engineered wood in its structure, combining comfort, construction efficiency, and low environmental impact.

With 22 family suites, communal areas, and recreational spaces, the House offers a temporary home where parents and children stay together during one of the most challenging phases of their lives. Urbem contributes to the project with the supply of engineered wood and the on-site assembly of structural elements, reinforcing the role of timber construction as a real solution for social-impact buildings.
