Alphaville Paraná, located in Campo Largo, Paraná, demonstrates how mass timber can transform shared amenities in residential developments. By utilizing CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) and glulam (glued laminated timber) systems in the main structures of its social club, the project combines construction efficiency, architectural quality, and integration with the natural landscape.
Designed to bring residents closer to nature through a comprehensive leisure and recreation infrastructure, the development features spaces dedicated to sports, well-being, and social interaction. Within this context, mass timber was selected as the construction solution for buildings that play a central role in the residents’ experience.
Urbem participated in the project by supplying, manufacturing, and erecting the mass timber structures, delivering an integrated solution that supported the project from structural conception through on-site assembly.
In total, approximately 130 m³ of mass timber was used across several club facilities, including the gym and pool complex, clubhouse and restaurant, barbecue and game areas, atelier, support buildings, gatehouses, and entrance structures.
More than a collection of buildings, the club serves as the social heart of the development, bringing together sports, cultural, and leisure activities in a setting that overlooks an extensive protected natural area.
