For a Rosewood resort, certified wood is not just a structural solution. It’s part of the experience.
Urbem was responsible for the structural design and supply of mass timber components, manufactured in Curitiba, Brazil, and exported to the Maldives with full certified traceability. On site, CLT panels function as load-bearing walls, engineered to withstand the archipelago’s wind loads and roof structure weight. Each piece arrives prefabricated, with mechanical and electrical openings and roof pitch already completed at the factory, ensuring precision and efficiency throughout on-site assembly.
