Urbem was responsible for the supply and installation of 10.51 m³ of glued laminated timber (GLULAM) for Espaço Laguna, a project designed by architect Thiago Bernardes for the 2025 edition of CASACOR Paraná.
Located within a private residence in the Batel neighborhood of Curitiba, the space stands out in this year’s exhibition, which is centered around the theme “Semear Sonhos” (“Sowing Dreams”).
Featuring a structure that appears to float above water, the project highlights authorship-driven and sustainable architecture, using mass timber to create a striking roof structure and a generous interior space that is seamlessly integrated with nature.
Urbem’s participation in CASACOR reinforces its commitment to innovative, low–environmental-impact construction solutions, combining design, technology, and ecological awareness. The partnership with Construtora Laguna—certified as a B Corp since 2023—further underscores the alignment between architectural excellence and a purpose-driven, sustainable approach.
