Gabriel 1825 is a commercial development located in Jardim Europa, set within a transitional area between the corporate axis of Avenida Faria Lima and the more tree-lined urban fabric of the neighborhood. The project proposes an uncommon horizontal layout for office buildings, organized around a central plaza of approximately 1,500 m², which structures circulation, gathering spaces, and the relationships between individual office units.
Designed by Isay Weinfeld and developed by Idea!Zarvos, the building incorporates approximately 58 m³ of timber applied in balconies, structural components, and roof elements. The use of wood contributes to a clear expression of the structural system, enhances environmental comfort, and reinforces the integration between architecture and landscape, highlighting timber as a technical and constructive component of the project.
Gabriel 1825 stands as an example of how wood can be incorporated into contemporary corporate architecture, enhancing workplace quality and expanding the discussion around materiality and construction performance in consolidated urban contexts.
