The McDonald’s restaurant in Búzios, located in the Manguinhos district, features a structural system in CLT and glulam supplied by Urbem, combining architectural simplicity with technical performance and construction efficiency.
The prefabricated system enabled the structure to be assembled in just 14 days, reinforcing the benefits of structural lightness, sustainability, and fast-track construction. The project highlights the potential of mass timber for commercial buildings, delivering speed of execution without compromising performance.
