A perfect example of these benefits of engineered wood, or mass timber, is the Ostara restaurant<\/a>, a structure built within the Monte Astral Winery in Farroupilha, Rio Grande do Sul. This incredible project was developed by Trino Arquitetura, designed by architect, urban planner, and designer Lisiara Camargo Simon, with startup Noah<\/a> as the developer.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Combining sustainability, technology, and speed, the construction was conceived with engineered wood from the outset to cater to both national and international tourism in the region with an exclusive, intimate, and biophilic environment.<\/p>\n At the center of the restaurant, in the heart of Ostara, stands a large tree that symbolizes the tree of life, surrounded by herbs and flowers typical of the region.
